Kiraya L. Kestin is a highly trained artist and writer who has won multiple awards, has been in many exhibitions, and a long list of academic achievements. She specializes in a variety of skills, one of which is writing autobiographies.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Kiraya has Designed and handcrafted custom jewelry by fabrication, forging, chasing, and fusing techniques. Various natural elements, including wood, shells, fossils, marbles, tree pods, leather, plexiglass, copper, gold, and silver, as well as stones, beads, and other metals, are included in her creations. After completing her training at Master Craft Ring Company, she has been working as a journeyman jeweler for remodeling and repairing jewelry and she creates stories and illustrations for children’s books.

AWARDS & SHOWS

Kiraya L. Kestin has earned numerous accolades, including two Gold Keys and an Honorable Mention in a Washington State art show for students aged 12-18.

Her work has been featured in prestigious juried shows such as the Northwest Painting Show, Pacific Northwest Arts & Crafts Fair, and Bumper Shoot. She has also exhibited in California and sold pieces at notable galleries like Panaca Gallery and Sea Fantasies. Additionally, her achievements include participating in the Edmonds Arts Festival and publishing a poem in SCBWI’s spring newsletter in 2008.
